Tinnitus Since
Hi
I had no idea until I did some research just how many suffer with this.
Mine started 2 years ago my doctor had me on calazapan for 2 years then
took me of. Never said addictive never said it was a form of VALUM so I went
withdrawals. Stayed in one place either my chair or my bed for 3 months now
I have ringing problems with using my legs because I was in one place for so
long also I'm dizzy almost all the time and that's my story.l

Hi Julieg,

I have pretty extensive knowledge of benzodiazepines (the class of drugs which includes Valium and clonazepam). I have communicated with a number of ex-benzo users who developed tinnitus as a result of benzo withdrawal, who had the ringing go away completely after a long period of time (more than 4 years in a couple cases). So, you may well be doing better in a couple years, than you are right now. Hang in there.

Thank you for the encouragement I've seen no end to this but I'm
always looking for something I've found an app from Beltone for just
this plays different tones. I don't think it gets rid of it but says might
help please pass that on for others
