Hi all.

For a week, I have had a very weird new incredibly high-pitched hiss, only in my right ear. It´s quite loud, and it´s really annoying me.

The weird thing about this new sound is that when I clench my teeth really hard, it stops.
Automatically when I release the mouth, it starts again. I think this sound has a more "physical" source.

Any clue what I could try?

Thanks in advance.

Try massaging your jaw bone and exercising your jaw if it deals with opening and closing your mouth. Also consider getting a night guard for your teeth from a dentist. You could be a night grinder, or clench them when stressed, or when you're not relaxed unknowingly, having your jaw not settle right. It's worth looking into!

Yes, but curious thing is that the day before I started noticing it, I had ear wax removal on both ears.

It had been done very carefully, but I´m starting to think that maybe something was wrong and therefore my new sound... days passes and not seems to be fading out, I´m really worried.

@dipp Can I ask what wax removal was used?
