Hello all, I just joined up, though I have been lurking for a while. I have had tinnitus since the 70s, due probably to loud music on headphones and driving with the window open for years. My tinnitus is a mostly constant high-pitched tone which varies with the usual triggers, but so far always returns to 'normal'. I have minor hearing loss at higher frequencies and tinnitus does not cause me any stress.

So why did I join, since it doesn't really bother me? Duh, maybe someone will find a "cure" of course!

Welcome to Tinnitus Talk @JimR,
I'm sure you will be able support other members as you have had tinnitus a long time.

Good morning and Welcome here Jim. Would you say your tinnitus is loud? Can you hear it all day?

And what country are you from? Tell me if I'm too curious :)

Tinnitus is constant. It's not deafening, but of course loud enough to hear unless something really has my attention. One reason I listen to music as much as possible. I'm in the southwest of the US.
