Good afternoon,
A study published by the Spanish State Investigations Center focuses on acoustic stimulation using an enriched median filter with gammatone balance. The idea is to fill the entire range of hearing loss in proportion to the degree of loss, and to do so randomly, in order to help reorganize the aberrant tonotopic map in people with tinnitus.
This gammatone filter appears to be more effective in stimulating the cells of the cochlea. I am not an expert, so I would really appreciate your opinions on this technique, especially in terms of residual inhibition and acoustic stimulation.

Thank you!
