Newbie in Tinnitus

Retigabine, other known names is trobalt, or potiga. Arent you reading through the retigabine thread? It cured a member mpt, and is helping others too.

So I emailed the people taking Trials on the AM-101 thing but they wouldn't accept me cause my tinnitus came out of nowhere and is not loudness induced so lame so people with uknown tinnitus is pretty much screwed if it came out of no where wouldn't u think it will leave out of no where
Trials must be documented with evidence of acoustic trauma versus ppl just saying they have T for no apparent reason. Otherwise is lessens the creditability of the drug and trial. You have to keep in mind lots of money is involved in these trials and everything is scrutinized before being made available as a treatment.
Hows your T since getting teeth pulled?

I wldnt say "CURED" until he stops taking that drug and lets us know if his T returned or not. But apparently something is happening with it.
Well you know what i mean, even if its cured or real near it while on the drug then this is as good as a treatment can get... Maybe we should say treated cause unlike other treatments which are nothing but bs.. This drug is actually Treating the Noise of the T and not just the reaction like others. === an actual real treatment in my opinion.

Wow a lot of people had there T decrease so much that they only heard it if they was in a quiet room and they put there fingers in there ear I hope I get some good results from Retigabine I'll see if I can talk to my doc tomorrow

Be careful, make sure to read over side effects and talk it over with your doctor

Has anyone acually been permenant my blinded from taking this drug? Been reading the thread about it and heard nothing but goodness including silence and since I'm still in the acute stages I'm thinking about taking the risks cause I'm getting sick and tired of this ringing

Go on the regabine thread and ask others, i dont think people have gone blind but dont take my word for it.

how long does it take for someone to get into a TMJ specialist and will access cover the cost of it? cause i heard splints cost $2000-$3000 and i don't have that kind of money so im hoping my access will cover it and my mom has some insurance but only covers up to $2000

hi! i'm 13 and about three months ago i noticed a ringing in my right ear when i was trying to sleep. it doesn't bother me throughout the day, because i can only really hear it when i'm in dead silence or like at night when i'm in bed. it gets really annoying and i have no idea why i have it? like it came out of nowhere and i don't listen to loud music or anything. do you think it will go away? like i'm still really young and have a lot of my life ahead of me so i'm really scared
