Cause of Tinnitus
NF2
NF2 was found by accident at 17. All tumors are small and have never been an issue with scans every 3 years or so. I am a 38 year old female with pulsatile tinnitus in my right ear. It is becoming an every moment pulsing. I made doc appts but cannot get in asap.

Does anyone recommend an ER visit to get a scan asap or to just wait on it? I read stuff online and freaked myself out that I am gonna have an aneurysm. The pulsing is very prominent now.

I'm no expert, but try and not read anything online even though that's easier said than done as this just makes you more anxious. I'm not sure where you are, but I would go the ER just to be safe due to your history. Keep us updated

Thanks JCB. I am leaning towards the ER. I am in the states.

And I know...google is dangerous to the psyche.

It's so easy just to type in google and then your reading the utter most worst scenarios. I only asked where you are as I'm not completely sure how the US healthcare works as I'm in the UK. I would go to the ER if that's plausible for you if anything just to put your mind at ease.
