Tinnitus Since
5 months
Cause of Tinnitus
Tmj/chewing gum everyday for 3 months
Since I do not have hearing loss or any physical damage to my ear (I did visit an ENT and took some tests to make sure), is there a better chance of my tinnitus going away?

I also have TMJ and muscle tension so is there a really good chance once I get this settled down the tinnitus will fade?

I never had any tinnitus before and it is somatic, possibly due to TMJ.

You can't really know.
But I would say there is ALWAYS a chance it will go away. Always.

Since when do you have tinnitus?
What is the sound like?
Have you tried anything to make it go away?

It started 2 months ago after a cold and ear infection. I was also very stressed around that time because of exams. But turns out I have tmj and I am starting to treat that. I am hoping the tinnitus will fade away with time considering I am only 13 and don't listen to loud music, go to clubs, etc. also I have very bad anxiety and that is playing a major role in all this. The tinnitus is most definitely somatic it changes pitches when I move my nose, open my mouth, and sometimes even when I move my neck.
