You will like them even better when you listen to their music on a good HI-FI system. That classical piece you sent me the other day I just couldn't stand listening to it on my computer speakers. When I played it through my HI-FI and heard the full orchestra with really deep bass it was quite something.

I know it dosent sound as good. You know my dream was always to watch a classical music concert in Prague or Vienna.

I see no reason why your dream can't become a reality but it's all up to you. When I had my 2nd noise trauma in 2008, at times I thought my life was over. It is normal to think negative when we are not feeling well or not at our best, but I never allowed it to overwhelm me. I was unable to read a book for 2 years and this made me very miserable at times. It took 4 years for me to habituate. It wasn't easy but I stayed focused and resolute and refused to throw the towel in.....

Do you listen to audio in the car?

Do you listen to audio in the car?

Yes I did at a low level. I didn't have any hyperacusis when my tinnitus increased in 2008 and still don't. As I said in my post: Hyperacusis, As I see it. I want to a venue here in Brighton where the sound level was 100 decibels and I stayed there for 30mins. The next day my tinnitus was completely silent. It is not something I regularly do or advise anyone to try. I just wanted to see how my ears would react to that level of sound.

I just wish it can return to the way it was before (Sep-Dec), it was so tolerable and it would only be annoying. I would only hear it when i would be in a quiet place. Now it is debilitating and it covers everything. I do have hope that it will return to where it was one was, but not much of it remains after these seven months that passed. I would love to continue where I stopped but in my heart I am suspecting that wont happen.

I dont expose myself to loud noises but I dont wear earplugs unless it is loud. I dont want to overprotect. My T varies from tolerable (2 days a week) to intrusive. I sleep much more now than I used to a few months ago.
