hiya all!

I haven't been on here in a while due to some other health related problems, but just in the midst of a spike that is rather upsetting.

I went to a carnival tonight with my fam and forgot my earplugs! so silly!

It was so loud, fireworks, loud rides, speakers within metres of my ears, and low and behold my T is screaming.
I spent the majority of my time with my fingers in my ears trying to protect them and running away from the fireworks haha, but while standing in line for the rides I had to plug my ears with my finger, it could be my anxiety. But I'm laying in bed with a terrible stretching spike that I can not distract myself from.

I took some magnesium in hopes for damage, but just wondering if anyone out there has had s similar spike and of it goes away!

I spent a good few hours walking around thd carnival and the ambience and music was pretty loud, obviously I couldn't plug my ears the entire time.
I guess the question is am I doomed to be stuck with this spike?

The odds are good that your T will eventually return to its previous base level. However, it could take up to a couple of weeks. T is so unpredictable. Fear and anxiety often exacerbate a T condition and spike. I'm a long-time veteran that can attest to that. The best thing you can do is to try to calm down as best you can. Try to reassure yourself with the thought, "This too shall pass."

I would say you're fine!

As other people said, try a high dose of NAC. I'd say trobalt, but you'd say nay lol

You will be ok.

I was snowblowing with ear plugs about a month ago and my T still spiked (happens every time). It subsided about a day or 2 later.

I haven't been on here in a while either but like to check in just to remember that there are many people with noise induced T who are dealing with it as well.
