Ok I'm all dressed up time to party friends wedding and I kick the door by accident walking bare footed around the house I've broken my toe !!!!!!

One way to distract from the ringing ears !!! Flipping heck ! Was looking forward to a dance now it's gonna be a hop limp move away from the dance floor . Well annoyed ice pack on my foot not how I expected the night to start ! Cher x

My wife has one of those home care medical books..In it there was a section on tinnitus..It said there was no cure but to just buy your shoes 2 sizes too small, your feet would then hurt so bad you would forget about the tinnitus.

I guess a broke toe would also work.

Good luck! I was drinking for the first time duo to the onset of tinnitus today. It went very well. Actually, the tinnitus went lower when drinking. I got more relaxed and forgot about the tinnitus.

Hi, Cher,
I feel your pain about the broken toe! I did the same thing to myself several years ago, when I was rushing around getting ready for work. It'll turn black and blue for a few days, then the bruising will subside. After that, it will slowly heal. Eventually, you'll be pretty much back to normal again.

Glad you had a good time, and got to dance a little bit! Now, it's best to rest it as much as possible. It will get better. Take care!!!

Hugs,
Karen

Sorry about your pain but, yeah, that's one way to stop thinking about the ringing. I've done that before, try to detract from one bad uncomfortable feeling by creating a distraction. Course, you didn't break your toe on purpose!

Oooohhhh Cher, so sorry. But the important thing is: you still had a good Tim! I think a positive attitude is one of the most effective weapons in the battle against T. Here is to you saying to hell with tinnitus.

BTW: I have broken bones and/or toes on both feet, twice each. Once was two weeks before leaving on a hiking trip to Glacier National Park. Had to settle for short hikes wearing a soft cast.
