Out of curiosity...

I found since I was in high school that I pretty much had a hard time "deciphering" what others say with a not-so-loud level of background noise. For example, I can remember being in the lunchroom in high school and had a hard time making out what a person was saying fully...as if I had to fill in the blanks. I'm not talking about "rock concert" loud.

Did you all with T have this problem as well? It wasn't as if I had hearing problems. In fact, when I was in my early 20s, I took a hearing test and all was fine.

Looking back a few years, I too had signs that something was not quite right. Definitely know what you are describing about not hearing everything clearly.
Actually visited ENT several times and was told it was Meniere's but a different doctor said it was not.
They comes the full blown T.
