How many out there are parenting with severe tinnitus?
I'm currently staying with my parents due to being post-surgery and having some health complications that caused tinnitus. I am very depressed as tinnitus increased post surgery that was supposed to help. Its still early days and I hope and pray it could still go down.
Before this happened, being a parent was one of my greatest joys. My kids are 9 and 11. We would cook together, my biggest worries were making sure they stayed on top if their studies and got to all their activities. I hosted many a sleepover. Now the kids are with my husband at home and come to visit me. They are always asking when I'm coming back. I feel so heartbroken but I'm scared to come back because I don't want them to see me depressed and suicidal.
Those of you raising kids while fighting the horrible tinnitus monster how do you do it?
