- Unknown / hearing loss
My normal tinnitus is sort of a high pitched tone that varies in frequency a bit. Every once in a great while I will hear a rather loud lower pitched tone. Put just for a very brief period. Pretty sure it was from no outside source. Anyone else get this?
The other thing I get is in a very quiet room I have a sub component of my tinnitus in my right ear. It is sort of a scratching sound. But I swear I am hearing some words. Now I am pretty sure I am not going insane, yet My guess it is my brain trying to make sense of what I am hearing.
Has anyone experienced that?
My other thought was I listened to a lot of talk radio playing earbuds. I use them no longer I just wonder if somehow my brain is playing back what I was hearing. Now if I could just remember what someone told me yesterday.
