Yes, we have a commission in Holland that consists of parliament members. They advise their minister. So i targeted them, the minister, but also tv and newspapers.

this is their reply

Hello Peter,

Thank you for contacting Change.org Help Center.

I understand you have a concern about your signature count diminishing.

Petition signature counts do occasionally go down. There are several reasons that this may occur:

- We have a background verification process that removes signatures with invalid email addresses.
- Each petition supporter has the option to remove their signature from the petition.
- Signatures that have been identified as fraudulent will also be removed by our backend system.

Please let us know if you have any questions about this process.

Best wishes,

Deanna

Thanks for the dedicated effort @Designer55! There is nothing better than projects that get completed.

I saw this a little late, it's already closed but thanks for coming up with such an initiative! Maybe we can go for something similar in other countries, too. I live in Turkey and there are almost eighty million people here but the number of people who are both tinnitus sufferers and are familiar with internet petitions is not big enough, I think. It could possibly work in other countries in Europe or in the U.S., though. If we had a simple tinnitus web site for each country, maybe we could get people more aware and make this work for many countries!

I fully agree. I collected 5500 signatures in two months. Government has it now on agenda. But they of course don't have budget. Trump even announced cutback in research. But in Holland it has been brought to attention of government. They now have dossier on it. Can not make it worse can it?

But fortunately there is some frontiers research initiative to collect all research on tinnitus. Finally people realise it's global and not going away on its own.
