Oh my, @Jcb, talk about interesting photos. Awesome. I adore the snails and bunnies!
@Jcb
Like I said, black and white photography is my favorite.......until now, lol!
Stunningly beautiful photos! A bit of a story...I used to have a neighbor who raised peacocks and when he went away for his summer vacation I would look after them. He had an albino peacock, so unique and beautiful.

No, I never had one become aggressive. The peacocks were in a sophisticated pen and all I had to do was keep their food and water supply topped up. I never entered the pen at all. His vacations only lasted 4 or 5 days tops. He also raised chickens and I collected the eggs and took them home. Talk about delicious.Love that picture, that sounds amazing they are the most striking creatures to look at.... I'm jealous haha did they get aggressive with you? I remember reading they can be a bit aggressive especially the males.

Great stuff again @Jcb ,
- the 'dead-end' 9 to 5 office worker is perfect.
I also admit to liking the nude lady statue.
It seems somehow urbane and worldly to say that,
but of course, our very first comfort in life was the breast, whether we are man or woman.
Anycase - I was never properly weaned.
(....that's my excuse....)
The little critters are also nice.
I don't like the young lady in the cage, surrounded by birds at all - you can probably guess why.
Great stuff Jcb.
I'll need to pull my photographic socks up now....!
Love them pics, especially the 1st one, makes me feel safe.
@emmalee - lovely photos Ema,
but I need to be honest here,
The little child picture makes me feel so sad.
I never ever felt a loving hand for me.....xx
So sorry if I made you feel sad Dave, it wasn't my intention at all.
@Jazzer yes that's a warming picture, I like the one where the bird is pooping on what I'm pretty sure is a wilder beast (I'm immature I know )

I've had this scenario twice Jcb.
As well as my music business I had a family business in fruit and floristry, with two shops, which I ran from 1962 to 2006 (44 years).
I was buying off of a fruit salesman at about 5:00 am in Covent Garden Market one morning, when a pigeon flew low over my head, and dropped his load all over my right shoulder.
The salesman who was a real 'card' looked at the scrambled egg on my epaulette and said,
"Cor look at that - second lieutenant!!"
The next time was even more impressive.
My quartet was playing in an open air shopping precinct in Dorking, Surrey, for a Bank Holiday weekend.
Usual thing. We would take requests, and play whatever the crowd asked for.
We rarely got caught out.
All of a sudden, a pigeon who I had been keeping a wary eye on, on the roof of the shop opposite, flew straight for me, and dumped all his ballast in my face, and covered my glasses.
He must have thought,
"I'll get that bastard - disturbing my roost!"
I couldn't see a damn thing, and had to stop in mid number.
My face and mouthpiece were covered.
The crowd roared their approval, and I obviously became, not only the bandleader, but also the cabaret.
One bright spark shouted out,
"You can't blame the bird mate,
.....he's obviously a music lover !!"
