Noise exposure
I try to avoid these things where possible. They are so noisy. It's annoying how many places use these hand dryers.

Interesting that you mention this. I used to avoid them due to the fact that they spew bacteria, but these days I have all the more reason to avoid them completely. They are loud.

It depends, some of the newer ones actually work and are not too loud. The bacteria are still an issue, but I'm not sure what else to do? Dry my hands with my shirt?

I definitely avoid those one-big-button jet-plane-taking-off things, though :arghh:

Most children hate those loud hand driers, too. My kids still do not like them. I cannot tell you how many times I've told my kids just to shake off their hands then dry them on their shirts, shorts, or me! So I didn't even think twice the first time I encountered a drier post-tinnitus. I probably look crazy shaking my hands over the sink!

if im at a resto i just exit the bathroom and grab their napkins to dry my hands ..: as if i have time to sit there and wait even longer for some machine to dry my hands.
