Nope, running water tends to spike my tinnitus. We have a pond with a fountain behind our home, and that doesn't bother me too much but that might be because there are so many other sounds (birds, frogs, crickets) outside.
In the 90s it was all the rage to have fish tanks. We had 3 in the living room and 4 in my bedroom with my sister. I think that's how my mom coped with her T when it first came on strong. She won't admit it, but I think that's what helped her out. When she got H it made it worse and that's why I had to get rid of my turtle last fall. (Before I had T.)
I remember being able to sleep through anything when I was younger. When we got rid of the tanks I fully embraced silence and couldn't stand anything noisy in my room.
not a fountain but i do own a diffusér and it helped me when my head was a tea kettle at night. i think ponds and running water are excellent for T because when i had it i remember wishing we had a pond outside the bedroom window.
