Planning on going shopping tomorrow with my family (it'll do me some good, as I've been sulking the whole week) but I'm suddenly worried it'll be too loud. I work apparel and the dB meter on my phone shows an average of 61 dB, highest it's been is 75 dB, maybe 80 dB tops, very occasionally. But I don't know how accurate the phone decibel meters are.

Anyways I'm worried about it being too loud. Help :/

You shouldn't worry about that.

Take earplugs with you as a precaution. You don't necessarily need to put them in.

Hi @AnyName,

If it helps, I always carry my Peltor ear protectors and my ear plugs with me, just in case it's too loud in town. Even if I don't wear/need them, knowing that I have them on me, keeps my mind at rest.

Town can be loud, but it's more sudden noises like children screaming near us that we have to be so careful of.

Steph :)
