I live in the USA and me and a lot of my friends are devastated. I work at a nonprofit whose mission is literally "eliminate racism, empower women" so Trump winning feels like a total gutpunch and repudiation of that mission. I haven't had the high level of anxiety that I had for a long time when my tinnitus first started but I definitely felt it last night as the results came in. My only thought right now is to be empathetic with my friends and neighbors and to be kind, but today is a tough day.
Agreed. I don't think we have heard Trumps stance on this subject yet. I don't think he is going to bring any overly religious concerns like some other people might of. Those for sure would end testing. I feel pretty positive that research will continue.Through all times in history (whether bright or less bright), science has always found a way to progress. No doubt that will happen now as well. If it doesn't continue in the USA, it will continue in Europe or somewhere else in the world. Hearing research is performed on a global level and I doubt a Clinton or Trump would have much impact on the outcomes of that. If politicians cut funding, the research will be performed elsewhere. The demand for a solution to hearing problems didn't become any lesser, actually it only increases. There's a big market waiting, and various participants in the race to get there first.
Let's not make politics more relevant than it really is.
So the fascists are in control. They dont believe in science as say a liberal does. So our chances just got lowered for relief or a cure. The earth will pay dearly.
God bless the USA. Land that I love. My Sovereign God is in control...not you or me.
It is your humble opinion.this is a dangerous mentality. our behaviors matter, a lot.
You're right. They should stop looking for a successful treatment for tinnitus because God clearly has you covered. It is your humble opinion.
