I just noticed that one of my pupils is just a little bit different in size than the other. I started having floaters after I got tinnitus like many of you guys and I wonder if that's connected.

Do any of you also have different sized pupils?

I don't really know. Go see an ophthalmologist, maybe something like an infection has caused the pupil to dilate. Look John, I just found out the more I pay attention the more symptoms I have. I think of pain in some part of my body and that's the trigger point. But in your case, go visit your eye doctor ASAP.

This was vaguely in the back of my mind as a "call 911 immediately" symptom but I think that's brainwashing from college where they were (understandably) real worried about meningitis. If this has been going on for a while and you're not dead, it's not that, whew.

@JohnAdams there appears to be some connection between pupil sizes and intracranial pressure (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3130361/) and intracranial pressure has sometimes been related to tinnitus. IIRC, the "test" for intracranial hypertension is to do a spinal tap and see if that relieves pressure/symptoms -- and I believe I've read a couple stories where this resolved tinnitus, but it's also been known to induce tinnitus, and having a giant needle jammed in your spine on an exploratory basis always seemed dubious enough to me that I said no thanks even when dealing with providers who might put it on the table.

Worth reading about, though.

JA, it seems like you've experimented a lot with your body trying to self-treat it. I would treat this as a warning sign to be a little more careful.
