Have you heard Yaeji's cover of Passionfruit? I love it... although haven't been able to listen in ages of course...

And I really like PND, especially a lot of his early stuff like Break from Toronto, Make a Mil.

Yesss I love that one! Her Boiler Room sets are amazing

PND is so talented! Make a Mil was one of the first songs I heard of his! My favorite by him is Kehlani's Freestyle but I also really love Wus Good, West District, & SLS Love all of those Canadian artists that started emerging in this last decade - The Weekend, Majid Jordan, DVSN, Roy Woods.

So when you guys with bad tinnitus post this stuff, you don't actually listen to it because of your ear issues, correct?

I can't listen to these songs right now because it'll just sound distorted from reactive tinnitus but if you guys are just posting music from the past that you remember, then maybe I'll post some stuff too. I just can't listen to the stuff I used to.

That's correct, at least for me. Softer music like R&B I can tolerate at a really really low volume but even then I usually end up paying for it later. I listen to a couple songs maybe once every few months at most.

I've never gotten distortion from music though.

do you get pain from music? How do you pay for it later? So I know you have reactive tinnitus so like your tinnitus reacts to things like cars, wind and stuff but you don't hear reactive tinnitus in music correct? I call it distortions cause reactive tinnitus distorts things for me.

Depending on the music my tinnitus will get louder over it. In addition to that, typically what happens is anywhere from a few minutes to hours later, my tinnitus morphs into a very strong EEEEE that I hear deep in my head and it strongly correlates to exposure to music

I don't have any distortions with music, it basically sounds the same as it did before besides seeming a bit more "flat".

I also don't get distortions from cars or wind. My tinnitus reacts to it in the moment as in it gets louder but the original sound doesn't sound "distorted". My distortions mainly come from continuous droning noises such as fans, AC units, power tools, and at times running water. I don't classify distortion and reactive tinnitus as the same thing

Oh man well I'm afraid I do the same except I don't live by the cemetery. I've lost my faith in God. I feel he doesn't existed otherwise this ugly thing would not be around.

Trip hop is awesome. One of the few best exports from Great Britain Still have the album Mezzanine from the band Massive Attack lying somewhere around.

BTW @Tanni, is Trip Hop still a thing in Bristol's night scene?
