Prochlorperazine (Compazine, Stemzine, Buccastem, Stemetil, Phenotil)

Yes. Stemitel is an anti-emetic and it helps reduce nausea and suppress vomiting. Stemitel is also given in cases of Meniere's and other causes of vertigo and dizziness. If you have no luck with stemitel it's possible you might be prescribed betahistine which increases blood flow to the inner ear and helps reduce excess fluid(hydrops). In either case your doctor will monitor you so you shouldn't worry.
 
Good luck, Amelia. I have had rare spells of vertigo over the years (always have been a vestibular challenged girl) and they just suck. Possibly worse than T. Thank god I don't get them often. Hope this med makes you feel better.
