Need a quick answer from my T family - is stemetil ok to take?

I'm having dizzy/vertigo spells and have been prescribed this...

Yes. Stemitel is an anti-emetic and it helps reduce nausea and suppress vomiting. Stemitel is also given in cases of Meniere's and other causes of vertigo and dizziness. If you have no luck with stemitel it's possible you might be prescribed betahistine which increases blood flow to the inner ear and helps reduce excess fluid(hydrops). In either case your doctor will monitor you so you shouldn't worry.

Thanks @Magpie - I'm so wary of talking anything since onset.

I dont think my vertigo is meniers related thankfully as it's only mild, but I think more related to my sinusus or Eustachian tubes

Good luck, Amelia. I have had rare spells of vertigo over the years (always have been a vestibular challenged girl) and they just suck. Possibly worse than T. Thank god I don't get them often. Hope this med makes you feel better.

Hi just want to find out more
I've been given prochlorperazine 5 mg tablets to help with tinnitus.
But I know it can't be helped exactly with tablets.
But the doctors have said I've suffered labrithyist in the past but at the moment all I've got is t and no dizziness.

Has any one else had this before ?
