Tinnitus Since
about 3 years
Cause of Tinnitus
unknown
For the last 3 years or so I have had a low pitched heartbeat noise in my left ear, along with continuous hissing at a high pitch.

I have had an MRI of my head to check for any abnormalities or tumors but this showed nothing.

This is becoming annoying.

Sometimes the pulse seems to fade for a while, but comes back.

I also have a slight hearing loss in my left ear.

Hi, I am on similar situation. Today I goy an Mri without contrast which came back normal. My PT is on right ear. It is intermittent, only happens when my BP or heart rate goes high (when waking up for example). It fades away in a few seconds....

Have they also ordered an MRV and MRA a well? This will take a more detailed look into the arteries and veins.
