Pulsatile Tinnitus!

Hello Doctor!...I'm suffering from pulsatile tinnitus which is in sync with heart beat for a month which I first felt after sour throat attack...had a course of Co-Symoxyl* 625 for the condition...I also get peculiar type of headache occasionally which I get while sleeping and is better when I sit up...could these two conditions be co-related...I'm resident of India and presently in Australia, will be back to home in November, which is when I can start my treatment...do you think it would be too late?

Hi @onspiritualpath -

I do not see how constant pulsatile tinnitus would be related to headaches that you experience while sleeping. In fact, now that I think of it, I'm not sure that a person can actually experience headaches at all while asleep - but perhaps I am missing your meaning.

As to whether or not November will be too late to start your treatment, I'm afraid I cannot answer that question since I am not sure what it is that will be treated (i.e., the cause of your pulsatile tinnitus), nor do I know the treatment that is being proposed.

So there's a lot I don't know. What I do know is that I sincerely wish you well in your search for relief.
