This question is for the Dr Dr Negler, so I hope it ends up there. And if it doesn't, I hope someone can move it for me because I cant figure out how. Iv heard various things about diets and tinnitus. Like you should avoid sugar or caffine. But what if you don't know what your tinnitus reacts to? Is there a safe way to find out without making your Tinnitus permanently worse?

And on that other question I was told to take Sudifed for fluid in my ears. I was told its not ototoxic. And Iv got the over the counter knock off brand Wel-phed. Do you know if Wel-phed is safe to use until at least next Wednesday when I finally see my ENT? My anxiety is through the roof because I'm scared of making things worse.

Ps: I heard you had a relapse a wile ago and I was wondering how your doing? Are you feeling better now?

I am not aware of any foods that make tinnitus permanently louder.

Sudafed and Wal-Phed are just fine.

Doing fantastic. Thank you for asking.
