Questions About Earwax

So my ear didn't feel full or anything and when I went to the doctor, he pushed the thing that allows him to look inside my ear in it, and said that it was all clogged with soft wax and he couldn't see my ear drum, after that it was clogged a bit, and my .2 sound has turned into a 3.

When I push anywhere near the red area, I can hear the wax squish around, is that deep in the ear?

Also my doctor said that irrigation was syringing, is this accurate? I am afraid of syringing after stories I've heard on here, is there any chance of this coming out on its own? He said using drops won't do anything since it's soft already.

I am also not sure why he said he couldn't see my ear drum, as before coming in I could hear perfectly fine.

At home I have a rubber bulb syringe, and earwax drops, might try using them.

Ear irrigation is not exactly the same as ear syringing of old where water was administered into the ear under pressure. As I have advised you before. Providing you use eardrops 3x day for 7 to 10 days then have your ears irrigated I don't believe you'll have any problems. I've had irrigation 3 times and no problems. I've had microsuction 3 times and no problems.
Try and not worry over this because it's something quite simple providing you do as I have suggested.

I would not advise microsuction at all. I had this done to remove wax and it caused hearing loss, chronic tinnitus and hyperacusis. I wish I'd just left the wax alone, or used a bulb syringe.

He said it's all soft wax, I may just let it go on its own to see if it pushes itself out, though my ear is blocked and its making my T a bit more noticeable i'd imagine also, do you think using carbomide peroxide and a bulb syringe gently, daily will alleviate it eventually? because it only feels blocked in the morning,

Went to doctors and ears didn't feel plugged for quite some time, he looks inside and it feels like he pushed wax back inside, and it was plugged, said he couldn't see ear drum and it was all soft wax. The increase didn't happen then, Drove home with the window open and it was quite loud and after that there was no increase, but after I put drops in (Carbomide) I noticed the increase. Not sure which one caused it but god it's annoying, it's been 2 days and maybe it went down?.. Also when my ears pop from yawning, and I do the hold your nose and suck in thing, I hear like a tapping on my ear drum (Not necessarily the ear drum) but its in bursts one after the other.

2 days is nothing, you are going to have to wait 2 months to know what happens.

I opted for micosuction and paid £60 for it myself rather than get the practice nurse to do syringing. Both can cause tinnitus but I felt microsuction was less likely to cause tinnitus. It didn't worsen it thank god. The thing about syringing is that it can move the eardrum which I'm convinced cannot be a good thing. I'd get a professional audiologist or ent to do it with a camera.

I can't believe it won't worsen it, I had it done for 3 seconds in my non T ear, and it echoed for a week and reacted to every sound, so obviously I am a bit terrified of worsening my already not so bad T, it's only been 2 months since I got it, so i have maybe a month before I can say it's here to stay ):

Amber is right, you are worrying unnecessarily and in the process causing yourself a lot of stress over a very simple matter if carried out properly as I've indicated.

Why don't you just use sodium bicarbonate drops, it gets rid of it eventually. Works for me..

There is a risk in everything @grotulon. You and I do not know the specifics that relate to the person in question that got tinnitus from syringing. It is similar to what you were saying the other day in this forum: That syringing and microsuction is dangerous and caused you problems without telling people the facts? Which are, to use olive oil eardrops 3x a day for 7 to 10 prior to the proceedure which you did not do.
I have said my piece on this and won't be commenting further.

Mine was a medium ringing for the first month of having it, and now its more of a hiss/white noise, not sure what significance that is, but a doctor recently pushed wax further into my ear (can't really feel it when I press around my ear anymore after using a rubber syringe and carbamide) So not sure if I should hold out on it being from wax.

Is your hearing dampened? I would have my ears cleaned.

It was but, that resolved, even when he said he couldn't see my drum it wasnt until after he put it in I couldn't hear that well, I think he pushed wax in and covered it, but now the fullness isn't there and I can hear perfectly fine.
