Quick Earplanes Plugs Question (Should I Go Ahead and Try the Child's Size)?

Hello, I am flying this coming Sunday, and I have a quick question about Earplanes.

I flew back in March, and my tinnitus more or less was fine round trip. I did use the adult sized Earplanes, and they seemed to work okay, with one exception. During the whole flight, I thought that the Earplanes were incredibly uncomfortable. They were borderline excruciatingly painful, and definitely irritating to my ear canal.

With that in mind, do you think I should go ahead and try the child's size? I know that this is the common suggestion or next step if the adult size is uncomfortable. I would just hate to buy the children's size and have them be too small and therefore ineffective.

Thoughts?

I agree that the ear planes are uncomfortable. While I have not tried them yet but I have read some good reviews on amazon for Flents flite mate plugs.

These got great reviews and they just look more comfortable overall, just from the picture alone. I bought some to try out. I will let you guys know how these work after this Sunday! Thanks for the link!
