Random Tinnitus

So, about 3 or 4 days ago I came home from my mom's, and noticed a ringing almost like an old tv static. I was upset, but just thought maybe it's gonna be gone when I wake up.

Next morning, still there, along with today. It happened really fast, which was odd to me. I am dizzy and i get headaches. Before this started, i was having head "pressure" which is the only way i can explain.

Went to doc, she said no infection but slight retracted eardrums. Prescribed me allergy and sinus meds.

Really hoping this isn't permanent, it complety takes away any joy

Welcome to the forum. Head pressure can be a symptom of anxiety and other issues. If the symptom persists, you may want your doc to check more thoroughly. If nothing seriously wrong, then anxiety and/or stress can cause this. Besides, anxiety and stress are known to cause sudden tinnitus. It is therefore helpful to find ways to unwind the nerves and the body so perhaps this will help to reduce T. Have you tried masking your T? Take good care. God bless.
