Reactive tinnitus tone from left ear is migrating to my right side. I've heard this happening to many people even without any new noise (or otherwise) damages.

Should I take steps to intervene or is this normal?

I'm worried only because this exact tinnitus tone in my left ear is what preceded my reactive tinnitus. If it's spreading to the right side of my head now....will I have worse reactive tinnitus?

Thanks

From what I have read, tinnitus "spreading" from T ear to good ear seems to be the norm rather the exception, myself included. My own theory is that the brain neural network basically is common to both ears. What starts in one ear eventually gets picked up by the other. My T ear is reactive. When it spreaded to the good ear, it is "somewhat" reactive too, but eventually becoming non-reactive. It takes time though.

This is normal. My tinnitus start with my right ear. Now, I also have T in left ear.
Please keep in mind... It is not your good ear getting worse.
It is the brain neuron's issue which is still a mystery to me.
