Hello everyone, my name is Gio. I'm 29 years old and have recently developed what I believe is T. I have a very faint high pitch ring in my right ear. From time to time I feel a lot of pressure building up in both ears and I often yawn to try and relieve the pressure. Sometimes is works. I have had this ringing in my ear for over a week now and it's been wreaking havoc on my mental health, to the point where I have lost my appetite completely and am feeling extremely depressed. The onset was very sudden, I just woke up with it one day. I went to an ENT specialist today and she would like to run some tests next week. My fear is that this will never go away. Any idea what could of caused the T and the constant pressure buildup in both ears? Thanks in advance.

try not to worry and let ENT check you over and check hearing and take it from their.
Keep relaxing music on around you to take your mind off your tinnitus sound.

It ought to go away. Check out the first point in

In that thread I summarize everything (26 tips spread over five posts) I learned about managing tinnitus after reading the posts on this forum for the past year.

Thanks for the support and guidelines!
I've had decent days with it and bad days. I've noticed that I can lower my T by really focusing on it and having my mind lower it. Does that sound familiar? Makes me wonder if it is stress induced T. I really commend everyone here for dealing with this beast, it is like living a nightmare.

Not at all! It is something I fantasized about being able to do, but something that had always eluded me. I am envious.

Yes. A never-ending-nightmare...

I've dealt with T since 1971 and although that's not a lifetime it's a significant amount of time. I'm just saying don't freak out and get in a tissy. You got this and ain't no damn T going to whup ya.
