I was recommended to get one but I knew it was to noise exposure so I didn't want to take the test. I'm having difficulty reading the article because it scares me terribly. It's like I can't have any good luck.
@katri : don't be scared, it seems that it's the protocol in our countries. The most important when you pass MRI is to wear earplugs + earmuffs if it's possible (if your head is not blocked by a mask like the one in the picture below) because of the noise generated.
Acoustic neuromas are non-cancerous and pretty uncommon. The good thing about them is that they are treatable, and if your tinnitus is a result of the tumor then there is a good chance your tinnitus can be cured.
