This band literally changed my view of music. Fantastic music and musicians. Sadly I never got to see them live.

I really love that song. Hope I can get well enough to listen to rock and metal again. In the meantime here's another new band on the prog side of metal.

I know. Sadly because of hyperacusis I can no longer enjoy this genre that I love. Luckily I've also been acquiring a taste for ambient and post rock, e.g. Helios, Sigur Ros, Hammock, This Will Destroy You, Library Tapes, Olafur Arnalds etc.

Hard rock and Heavy Metal gave me severe tinnitus. And I can't enjoy distorted/trebly guitars anymore. But this was one of my favorite songs years ago.

Oh, I agree, I got my hearing damage from shredding on my guitar. I am saying right now with our ears jacked the last thing we need is metal.
