I made a few major diet changes including sodium intake. It had not lowered my tinnitus but I also never experience spikes like many do. Foods today are processed to death and hard to get the right nutrition from. A loaf of bread that sits on the counter for 3 weeks and still won't get moldy?? Scary!
I cook a lot from scratch now and include many more veggies and fresh fruits into my diet. I also take a Probiotic supplement once a day that has 8 strains of good bacteria and a count of 30 billion of the good bacteria's. This aids in digesting the foods properly to fuel the body well.
Exercise is important also. So indeed try to keep your sodium intake low but don't panic about some salt. Our bodies actually require a balance of salt to function properly. Eat well, exercise a bit more and get the proper amount of sleep.
