Seasonal Flu Bordering on Pneumonia... What Medicine Is Safe and Not Teasing My Tinnitus?

hi,
i am having a strong bout of seasonal flu, coughing, running nose, etc. No sore throat, but a dry and very violent cough. also I have got temperature above 38C now.

Ibuprofen and Paracetamol seem to make my T worse (although it usually goes back to baseline) - haven't seen any correlation with pennicillin. Any advise of do's and DON'Ts?
