Was wondering if anyone had any experience of being sedated for medical procedures and how sedatives affect tinnitus, if at all. I need to have a colonoscopy and will probably require some kind of sedative.

I chose propofol when i was getting my endoscopy. It made no difference in my tinnitus at all.

Thanks for the reply. Been feeling a bit nervous about the whole thing so good to know sedation doesn't necessarily affect tinnitus.
