Hello, I'm looking for advice from those who have had successful outcomes with TRT.
I have mild high-frequency hearing loss and want to start using hearing aids with sound therapy to help with healing. However, I don't experience ringing. Instead, I hear crackling, electric shocks in my ears, metallic shrieking, and tapping sounds that radiate into my head.
These symptoms are very disturbing, and I'm wondering: how did you manage sound therapy when your tinnitus was at its worst? As you habituated, did the sound therapy become easier to listen to?
