Silence Is Gone in Sweden

Another month have passed. I am not ready ro write a succsess story yet but a recovery one i could do. The good T-days are more and more common, i have 6 straight days without the hissing sound and i hope that it will continue. As i mentioned before a mouth guard and remeron was the key. I am not on any meds at all for the moment, just exercise and a little bit of rain sound while sleeping, my wife and our newborn boys thinks it´s ok:censored:.

From the beginning i had 3 different sounds, one static high pitch and one more of a morse code that used to go wee..wee..weee...and so on. And there was also the hissing sound that was over everything else. The hissing sound started to leave me for 1 or 2 days a week after 2,5 months. That growed to 3-4 days a week. The morse code fainted away after 3 months and that leaves me with the static high pitch, this one is much lower in volume now than it was in the early days. I can still hear it over almost everything if focusing on it but a lot lower than before.
During the first two months i had a dose of H as well, my T reacted to driving a car, taking a shower etc. I couldn´t watch tv at any volume. When taking walks i thought that the birds were to loud. All of that had gone, but iam still careful with all sounds but i never protect anymore unless concerts and really loud places.

I just want to say to all the new sufferers that a sound induceed T can get better over time, just 4 months so far for me. I also realized that parts of it was due to all the tensions that anxiety bulit up during the beginning.
Things that i regret when looking back is that i read and spent to much time focusing on the T, all my days was just T surfing until it was time for the sleeping pill.
I also would like to say to the new ones. Read and gather information and seek some support for a time, then move on and do other things than reading and posting in here. The supportive side of this forum is great but all the anxiety and misery in here dragged me down more than one time. Me advice is move on as soon as possible.
