i don't know if anyone here has these but I just stumbled across the symptoms the other day on the net, I have no idea how. But after reading thought: "what the heck? I've had these symptoms as long as I can remember and obviously the whole time I've been having some kind of mild seizure all this time."
I've never spoken about it because living with it all that time I thought it was normal and didn't know how to describe it. When I started telling my husband and after hearing myself I thought: "How on earth would anyone think this was normal?"
Now I'm wondering if the sporadic noise in my ear with bouncing vision could be just another type of partial seizure?
I've had the waves of déjà vu sort of dreaming feeling fairly often and then this staring at objects or people while my eyes go out of focus and I can't pull my eyes away. It only lasts up to thirty seconds and I can speak and hear people talking to me. At first I thought I was doing it deliberately because I was tired or something but since reading about the symptoms I've tried and I can't do it deliberately. Also I've more recently - in fact just over seven years ago before the T and vision problems started - began having a new sensation instead of the déjà vu. It's a wave of rising euphoria that comes over me and rises up from the stomach until it kind of explodes over my head. It's a fantastic feeling and I wondered if I was becoming a manic depressive or something! But they have manic feelings like that for a long while and then sink into terrible depression and I don't have that.
I've never smoked a cigarette or taken drugs or even got drunk (yes I'm weird but I'm a good girl) and I imagine this might be what drugs do to people when they say they're on a high. Only it sadly lasts only a minute or so.
The other one I get isn't so pleasant. It's a wave of dread and feeling kind of sick but not like wanting to vomit. It comes from my stomach and sweeps over me like a sadness and I feel I want to escape from where ever I am at the time. Fortunately that one never lasts longer than about thirty seconds and it goes quite quickly.
I would never have thought I was having seizures and always thought everyone felt these things because I didn't know any different.
