Hi, we had a slight car incident, backing into a car this afternoon. Of course, the force of hitting the car has increased my tinnitus.

Is this usually temporary? Thanks...

Hi, today I was in an accident where the side air bag came out. I was wearing foam plugs, and the air bag didn't sound that loud. Is it possible I dodged a disaster?

My ears are louder than usual, but I'm hoping it's just nerves from the accident.

Opinions are welcome, thank you.

You have started some 45 threads about various things causing "spikes"

It's always been in your head. The spikes aren't real. You're obsessed. You keep listening to your tinnitus and noting any tiny change. When you do that, your brain picks up on the tinnitus signal and you mistakenly think your tinnitus is louder when it's not.

Stop being worried and live your life!
