Appreciate the clarification. I thought the term hidden hearing loss basically encompassed all of the frequencies not measured in conventional audiometry (e.g. 555 Hz, 2020 Hz, etc.)
I can see why there would be that confusion. Hidden hearing loss is when people have normal audiograms (even extended audiograms) but have speech in noise and other hearing problems.

My understanding is that hidden hearing loss is when you have a normal audiogram but you have a hard time making out words in complex noise environments. The idea being that when tested you have great hearing, but in practical use you have issues.

Got a few questions if you dont mind @JohnAdams.

1. How long did it take for the injection to drain down the eustachian tube?
2. Did you notice a change in your hearing while it was in there, like increased head sounds and less external ones?
3. Could the solution help regenerate other things in the middle ear like the cilia?

For anyone new, just finding this thread: I have done the tedious work of searching for JohnAdam's audiogram.

It's on page 53, towards the bottom of the page.
I suppose that it should also be noted that John failed to use an audiologist prior to his first departure, also making the whole thing unreliable, yet it didn't even show improvement anyway.

John claimed that the PRP cured his tinnitus, then suddenly took a 180 claiming it wasn't that.

For anyone reading this, I do not recommend diving into this saga. It concluded rather messy, and we still don't have any solid evidence. All we had were theoretical.
