Song That Describes Your Feelings

I'll quote some lines from my once favourite noise rock band 'Today is the day' from the song Temple of the Morning Star.

I wake in cold sweat...
And there is no one, no one who cares...
This life. No life.
It's killing me.
I am slowly dying.

I can't be what you want me to be.
I am dead.

In darker moments:

It hurts just the way it hurts today
Those moments come, then recede away
Better to accept what you cannot change
The less the pain . .

Tell them all to go away, tell them all I'll be OK
Tell them all just not today, not today

In lighter moments

It's okay to find the faith to saunter forward
With no fear of shadows spreading where you stand
And you'll breathe easier just knowing that the worst is all behind you
And the waves that tossed the raft all night have set you on dry land
It gets okay to praise the day
Believe in sheltering skies and stable earth beneath
But hear his breath come through his teeth
Walk by faith
Tell no one what you've seen
It's all good to learn that from right here the view goes on forever
And you'll never want for comfort and you'll never be alone
See the sunset turning red let all be quiet in your head
And look about, all the stars are coming out

And, pretty much always:

And the streets were awash with the blood of the innocents, sacrificed to slaughter
The crowds all drunk on power and madness as the noise grew ever louder
And I could hear the knives being sharpened and I wished that it was over
Bring me the snowfall, bring me the cold wind, bring me the winter
Let all the sins of the past be buried in the frozen ground
Let the last of the vengeance fires die
The back wings flying high above the skeleton trees
Disappear into the white
So let the weary land be rested and the killing season over
Let the shadows stretch forever in the light of burnished silver
For I fear the age of consequence and I wish that it was over
I fear the age of consequence and I wish that it was over
Bring me the snowfall, bring me the cold wind, bring me the winter
