So I took test with ear puss and got results, turns out i have staphylococcus aureus and I dont want my T to get worse due to medication (clarithomycin messed me up a bit but its better after month and a half). Funnily enough that stap infection is in my other ear (not the one that had originally middle/external infection)
S means its susceptible to that antiobotic. I'm not so keen on quinolone family as staph develops resistance very fast so Im mostly left with "micin/mycin" family
Not sure if im lucky enough and oxacillin/benzylpenicillin will be effective.
I dont even know if higher or lower number is better :/
Which antibiotic (oral/ear drops) would you recommend? Ear drum is perfect as far as exam under microscope says.
