I wanted to post this because it's research that ties stem cells and synaptic growth factors together.

Researchers mention the possible other uses Parkinson's, MS, etc.

Would be interesting if this was experimented in the middle ear to see if the induced growth factors reconnect nerves in the inner ear. Also because the stem cells die there isn't the cancer concerns of other treatments.

Wouldn't it be awesome if something similar was found in the inner ear. :)

The body is amazing. And amazingly complex.
 
The science does an incredible job. Almost sciencefiction. Can't believe what i just read. Feel so happy for those people.
