Hi,

I just wanted to make this post to thank everyone that posted their stories here, and to encourage anyone struggling with tinnitus to only read the success stories. What really helped me is to focus on the positive things in my life (sports and friends) and the mechanics behind tinnitus (fight of flight response, etc.), explained by Julian Cowan Hill's YouTube videos.

I've had tinnitus my entire life due to ear infections when I was younger, but got a really bad episode in January from stress from a breakup and exams combined. After that period the tinnitus stayed for a few weeks, but with the videos of Julian Cowan Hill and the advice given in them, the tinnitus has almost completely disappeared from my life ever since.

Thank you all and good luck, recovery is nearer than you might think.

Do you mean to say your spike went away, or all of the tinnitus?
