Sudden Deafness?

This may be a weird question, but obviously I have Tinnitus, so I understand my ringing to an extent. But about 20 minutes ago while just browsing the internet my left ear went deaf and I got a different ring, it was very high pitched. The ringing and the "deafness" slowly faded but now my ear still feels a little stuffed up.

Has this happened to anyone else?

It happens to me quite often I don't know what it is or why but it's scary, thankfully it goes back to normal after a few minutes.

It's quite common. I believe the correct term for it is fleeting tinnitus. I experienced it twice in one day a few weeks ago, and then a few times in the 4 months prior. I also had it when I wasn't going through my current relapse.

Yup I get it every once in a while. Sometimes it is only for few seconds sometimes it takes awhile

I've got something like this just a few minutes ago on my right ear (healhy one). Though not complete deafness.
