Suggestions for a Hospital / Doctor / University Specialized in Tinnitus Requested

I am looking for a hospital/doctor/university that specializes in tinnitus. I live in New Jersey but am willing to travel anywhere in the US to find someone who is well educated about tinnitus hoping to receive some help.

When I look on the web every ENT doctor says they specialize in tinnitus but after having appointments with them I realize they know less than me! Appreciate any & all suggestions,

In my 30 years dealing with tinnitus, I have found that audiologists.... have been more of a help (TO ME) than doctors and ENTs. ENTs are good for ear, nose, throat infections.

I totally agree with @fishbone .

My ENT's have been able to rule out any physical causes that they could fix but my audiologist has a very good understanding of what I'm going through and does everything she can to provide relief. My psychologist helps me cope with the mental fallout from the tinnitus.

NYU Langone, in Manhattan, has a Tinnitus in Adults dept., with a number of excellent doctors. I went last year, but they couldn't do anything, medically, for my type of tinnitus. They also offer CBT, masking devices, hearing aids, retraining devices with audiologists, etc.

Jus be aware that there is no cure, so don't expect a miracle from these guys

There is a good tinnitus specialist at Salus University, PA Ear Institute, Dr. Blaha. Although there is no cure for tinnitus, she has the specialized testing and treatment approaches to adapt to it. She is right outside of Philadelphia in Elkins Park, PA.
