Teenage Tinnitus with No Cause

Hi, I am 17 years old and I have recently developed extreme tinnitus. I am unable to sleep at all throughout the night and I have tried absolutely everything to get rid of my tinnitus, I have visited numerous doctors and even paid private but there is absolutely no cause for my noise. I am loosing the will to live and I don't know how much longer I can take it Is there ANYTHING else I can try, I will literally do anything!!!

Sorry to read this. Have you noticed other symptoms recently? Even things that don't seem related to tinnitus at first, like jaw pain for example.

I had a virus that they think started my tinnitus but I haven't noticed anything different, I do sometimes wake up with a blocked nose throughout the night but nothing else

So maybe your ENT system still needs time to "recover" from the virus. Your T always stayed at the same level since that virus?

They have said that its a case of 'glue ear' but tried everything that treats that and had no improvement, yes always the same level, and always only one ear

Have you tried a steroid nasal spray? Flonase, Nasacort, Dymista, etc. ?

Yes that was the first thing they gave, no change
