I want to thank every one for those of you who have supported me directly, and you know who you are, and everyone else that has indirectly thru your posts. It has been an hellish education to say the least. I have a ton of respect for those of you who can work thru this hell. I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel, finally, I realize I might be able to someday tell a success story. I am not there yet, far from it, but I have a focus finally and slowly building some strength to slay this dragon. I actually for the FIRST TIME I BELIEVE I can make it. Thanks again everyone.

Perhaps you can explain to me how someone who is been seeking help for 13 weeks can be viewed by an agency as being the problem. If you speak up and be assertive, you are knocked down and told you are being argumentative, and uncooperative and there is a process and it is unfortunate that it does fit with my expectations of services. I'm lost, I just don't get it, I was having such a good day and making progress and then once again someone comes along and craps on my day, and now I relapsing backward again, just like that!

Blair,

Please don't give up; you are definitely on the right track! Did that agency you speak of have something to do with your tinnitus? Most of who have had tinnitus for awhile have been where you are now -- many times, doctors just don't understand or don't want to deal with us. You just have to keep going, from day to day, and find ways to cope.

That positive spirit you displayed at first is the real key to feeling better. Never give up; keep telling yourself that you will succeed, and you will! One of the best things you can do for yourself is to distract your mind from the tinnitus. Find things you love to do, and keep right on doing them. Eventually, you'll notice that your tinnitus begins to fade into the background. This is a long, slow process in some cases, but really is worth it in the end! I know you're going to make it. Keep the faith!!

Blair,

I certainly understand. If you're like me, you didn't have any depression until the tinnitus started. It can almost seem like a vicious cycle, that's for sure. I hope that things will get better for you. Don't give up, and keep that positive spirit. You have many others here who understand what you're going through. Please use us as a resource during those down times!!

Blair, hope you feel better again. Don't know who crossed you but here we all support you and wish you have a great day. Don't worry about distraction. You follow your own light towards final habituation. We are here cheering you on. Take good care and God bless your recovery.
