This one-day online conference, which will be held on 28 June 2024, aims to bring together researchers and clinicians from hearing science, pharmacology, and gene therapy to share their perspectives and scientific discoveries that can guide the future development of tinnitus treatments. The target audience is healthcare professionals and members of the public, who are welcome to attend.

It's organized by a private organization in the UK that offers the standard CBT/TRT crap.

Some of the speakers are well-known, and it has a non-CBT flavor.

This is the important part here. Dr. Hashir Aazh is a scumbag who maliciously exploits tinnitus patients by selling them CBT/TRT crap.

He's clever though, organizing a somewhat legit-sounding conference, under the guise of his nonsensical clinic, which will get promoted at the same time.

I agree. I posted it here for the guests. He is indeed a scumbag of the highest order. At £95 to watch, it's money in his bank.

The useful thing is getting to know some of these scientists and clinicians. Some are new to me. Knowing them can lead to looking into publications they have submitted or even patients contacting them for said submissions. Many won't reply, but some do.

      Hear, hear.

He's done a few Q&As with almost the same panelists a few times, and it's all very low effort. See here.

Maybe it's just me, but whenever Hashir speaks in these things, I sense the others (like Richard Salvi) ignore him.
