Hey. 19 years old. I have had tinnitus for 9 months. Its can only be heard when its silent around me, I have it in both ears. I had no hearing loss after doing audio test.

I still use headphones to listen to music a lot im kind of addicted to music. Cant live without.

But there is one type of pain I have in my ears, not necessarily during exposure to noise, music, but when its silent around me. A kind of mild independent ear pain of the tinnitus, in a way like the ear itself is hurting from inside. A little similar to when being inside a plane and your ears hurts a lot due to pressure, but the mild version of that.

Is this normal?

Is that pain constant? Or do you have it for a few seconds? Bc I experience ear pain as well, almost every da. But just for a few seconds, so I dont care about it...and the ent couldnt find anything...

Defiantly get your ears checked.
It could be wax build up ,ear pressure or the start of a infection .
Let us know how you get on....lots of love glynis

'Cause lot of ENTs are bad... the dentists look all your teeth ? Not just the level up ... ENT just watch your frequencies between 0 et 8khz (to understand a disccusion I think) & don't check the rest..."you have a perfect audition" Yes until 0 et 8khz...
